    REMEMBER! Storing your baby for the winter? Engine oils of all types by themselves will run off of the internal pieces of your engine over time, but if you have ZDDPlus in your oil, and have run it through a couple of heat cycles, the extreme pressure additive will form a glass like layer that will not run off, leaving a barrier that will protect the engine when you start it again. Why not protect against a dry start, by adding ZDDPlus now!

•     ZDDP (Zinc Dialkyldithio Phosphate) was in ALL warranty approved engine oil since the 1940s.
•     The amount of ZDDP in both standard graded and synthetic motor oils has been dropped by more than 50% in the last few years, and is scheduled to be dropped even further.
•     Engine builders have recorded many more engine failures in high performance and rebuilt engines in the last few years.
•     Engine failures were blamed on inferior parts, until research found that missing ZDDP Extreme Pressure additive was at fault in most cases.
•     According to Mark Ferner, team leader for Quaker State Motor Oil Research and Development, "Even stock passenger cars can see pressure in excess of 200,000 psi at the point of flat-tappet/cam lobe contact." To prevent excess wear, traditional motor oil use to include a generous dose of anti wear additives, primarily zinc dialkyldithio phosphate (ZDDP).
•     ZDDPlus replaces this “Generous dose” of anti wear additive to current SM grade engine oils to replicate the formula demanded for warranty coverage when your Classic or Muscle car was built.
•     Adding ZDDPlus is even more important for a high performance engine.
•     One 4 ounce bottle added to a 5 liter oil change brings the ZDDP level back to an SE, SF, SG or earlier oil standard.
