Although ZddPlus provides wear protection while your engine is running, remember that the glass like coating it leaves on the wear surfaces does not run off like the rest of your engine oil (regular and synthetic).There is no other oil additive that can protect your engine through the winter while it is parked for an extended period of time. Along with adding ZddPlus to your oil change, try to keep moisture out of your engine by placing foam in the tailpipes and sealing your carb with a plastic bag, an elastic, or duct tape as there will always be at least 1 valve open on the engine and it is very important to keep moisture out.You are better off leaving your engine sealed up if you are not able to take it out and run it up to operating temperature. Just starting your engine and idling it to temperature is much harder on it than taking it out for a run. Remember to add a fresh bottle of ZDDPlus each time you do change the oil, and take it out for a good run, or prepare it for winter, and wait for the spring weather.
